We process only the data we need.

This notice describes how Nordplug Oy (business ID 3550086-5, Finland) processes personal data in connection with the Työäly websites, tyoaly.fi and tyoaly.com, and when you contact us. Updated 3 October 2026.

No cookies and no analytics tools

The site uses no cookies, no analytics tools and no third-party embeds. Fonts and all other files are served from our own hosting. Amazon CloudFront processes the technical connection data it needs, including your IP address, only to deliver the page. To count visits and watch the technical health of the site we keep limited technical logs for 30 days: the page requested, the referring page, the time, the response status, the browser type and the country. No IP address or other direct identifier is stored in these logs.

Contact form and email

When you send a message through the form on this site or by email, we process your name, your company name, your email address and the content of your message in order to reply and, where needed, to prepare a proposal or a contract. A form message is delivered to us as an email through Amazon Web Services servers in the EU and is not stored on the site. Technical error logs of the form are kept for 30 days and contain neither the message nor the sender's details. The legal basis depends on the nature of the enquiry: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and maintaining business communication.

We keep correspondence for up to 24 months after the last message. If a customer relationship follows, the necessary data is kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the retention periods required by Finnish accounting law. Our email service, Microsoft 365, and the Amazon Web Services infrastructure process data on our behalf as service providers. Our service providers process the data primarily within the EU. Where processing involves a transfer to the United States, for example for support or service telemetry, it is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your personal data and do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Työäly Gate, the decision service

Työäly Gate is a service for companies whose AI agents propose actions: the customer's agent sends the proposed action and the context it has, and Gate answers whether to allow it, refuse it or hand it to a person. In this processing Nordplug Oy acts as the customer company's processor under the customer agreement and its data processing terms; the customer decides what its agent sends. Gate runs on Amazon Web Services in the EU (Stockholm). The record of a decision (who proposed what, the answer and its reasons, timing and cost) is kept for 13 months; the content sent with a request is kept only for the period the customer has chosen, from not at all to 30 days. For the semantic part of a decision, the prepared evidence is processed by the decision model Jev of TypeSafe AI, Inc. (San Francisco), whose service is hosted in the United States; the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses in TypeSafe's data processing addendum, and TypeSafe does not train models on the data it receives. The daily digest mail to the person the customer names, and that person's sign-in to the console (Amazon Cognito), carry the person's email address and the decision records, never the content.
